'The Jdryer drying racks were inspired by a vintage wall-mounted drying rack I found when I bought my 350 year old cottage, which hadn't been updated since the 1950s. I decided to carry out some research into the drying rack at Kew Records Office and found that the original design dated back to the 1940s. I then visited a Patent Lawyer and after doing an intensive global search, found that there was nothing like it on the market. Similar but not the same.

So, I embarked on re-designing it and bringing the brilliant and simple solution to drying back to life.

I have many customers who have returned to buy more Jdryers and now say they couldn't live without one. Which is always lovely to hear.

I'm not sure if anyone really enjoys hanging out washing but the Jdryer is such a simple and practical design, and hopefully it makes the task of hanging out the washing an easier and more pleasurable experience.' Juliet

Made of high quality Marine Grade Aluminium with Stainless Steel fixings.

 

Long armed 

Maximum width with rods fully open - 120 cm

Overall height of the Classic Jdryer with rods down, from the top of the bracket to the ends of the rods - short armed 58 cm, long armed 73cm.

 

The standard Jdryer fixes to the wall with three screws. Dome head screws are recommended for aesthetic reasons, with wall plugs needed if in masonry, and stainless steel screws are recommended for outside use. Be sure to use the right screws and wall plugs for the right wall-type.

 

The Easyhook Jdryer hooks over doors, window sills or balconies.

 

Easyhook and short armed Jdryers weigh under 1kg.

The long armed Jdryers weigh up to 1.5kg, dependent on design.
